DIY Useful Box

I came across this pin and with every intention of trying it. It wasn't until a year later that I almost threw a box away and realized I could make use of it. Let me tell you, Awesome pin! It was super easy and fun to make and I use this box everyday, it's so helpful! I use mine for diapers and wipes, but you could use them to organize toys, craft projects, store anything really. Well, heres how I made mine. Good luck!

What you'll Need:

  • Box
  • Fabric
  • Hot Glue gun
  • Scissors

First you'll need to cut all the flaps off the box.

Find a big square piece of fabric and lay your box in the center. Then I marked with a sharpie or a pen each corner of the box, just in case it shifted a little, I could position it back to the center.

Then cut each flap out. You'll end up cutting out pieces of fabric. Fold the flaps upward and glue to the box. Leave about a quarter of an inch on all sides so you can fold over.

When it comes to the corners, You want to cut a diagonal slit up to the corner of the box so it will fold nicely.

When your ready to finish off the corners, just fold the outer flap under and glue down. It will look like a finished seam.

Glue the top flaps down and you're done.

Enjoy! As usual, let me know if you try this one!
