Life & Forgiveness

Sometimes I find comfort in reading about other people's lives. Realizing that there are others that go through the same everyday struggles as me. Realizing that they aren't picture perfect and super talented. It's humbling. I'm not near perfect, who is? What is perfect anyways? There are so many things I would love to learn, and things I am working on as well. I'm working on this blog, trying to make it better every day, with upgrades and more posts. Obviously, this is the first post I will call a 'ramble post'. Usually I post informational content, but I am trying something new. I'm going to post actual blog content so my awesome readers can follow along with me and hopefully connect in some sort of way. I am also trying to work on my writing skills because I am attempting to write a book. Yes, a book. I can't disclose what yet, but if your on this blog, you'll love it! More details to come.

So here's whats new with me.
I started a new job. Mostly to save up money so I can travel.
Started writing a book, and am serious about it.
Began the process of making my own soap from wood ash and rain water.
Forgave myself for recent regrets.
Lost 20 pounds by cutting out processed foods and gluten.
Tried to join the Peace Corps, but was disappointed to find out you are dis-qualified if you are gluten-free.
Started juicing, loving it!
Clearly, some pretty cool things have been happening! I've also really been feeling the shift lately. This year has been such a strong year, spiritually, emotionally, mentally & physically. I feel it in waves, sometimes it's stronger and I am very conscious of what is happening. Other times I feel like I'm just skimming by reluctant to see whats going on. I like it when I am aware and awake. I find myself very introverted though, which I suppose is fine, and normal. During these times I reflect a lot on past experiences. I seem to understand them better and regret less. I also forgive, not just 'yes i forgive you', but truly, deeply forgive. I just posted this on Facebook, but I think it's a great quote "We don't forgive people because they deserve it. We forgive them because they need it--because we need it. We all need it." -Janis Joplin
I'm going to let that sink in for now, and see what kind of response this blogging gets. If it gets good response, i'll keep posting like this as well as my informational posts. Thanks for reading. Namaste.
